Stewart Cambourn - Pastoral Team Leader
I am the eldest child of six children, having 4 brothers (Keith, Terry, Ian and Glenn) and 1 sister (Gai).
My Wife Sherrell and I have two children (Cody who is 17, and Chloe), and three grandchildren living at home ( Talia, Noah and Zachery). My blessings also include 4 stepchildren (Amanda, Raymond, Veronica and Chloe (mother of Noah and Zachery)) and twelve step grandchildren (Jamie, Josephine, Christel, Brandon, Nadine, Christina, Samantha, Talia,Tamara, Tai, Noah and Zachery.)
I grew up in a tradition Christian Church environment, taking my confirmation in the Anglican Church in 1963 and re-affirming my commitment to Christ at a Billy Graham Crusade in Sydney in 1968.
I faced the usual trials and temptations over the next several years. I first came in contact with the Pentecostal movement in Orange, NSW Australia in the early 1970's through the Four Square Gospel Church. However it was not until the mid 1980's that I started attending a Pentecostal church on a regular basis, shortly after I was baptised by immersion and in the Holy Spirit. Since then many things have happened, sometimes I walked openly with our Lord, at other times I hid in my prayer closet.
In October 2001, I commenced a weekly prayer letter that eventually became Abda Ministry of Prayer and Praise. During 2007 I became registered as a Independent Pastor with Trinity Church (USA).
I am currently a member of Hope Center Ministries at Kempsey in Northern NSW Australia.
During the week I work as a volunteer at West Kempsey Public School in the Library.
I am a member of several online fellowships such as Jesus is Lord Fellowship World Wide International and The Burning Bush Ministries.
